The BANDO timing belt is a steel belt or glass fiber as a strong layer, and is covered with an endless belt of polyurethane or neoprene. The inner circumference of the belt is formed in a tooth shape to mesh with the toothed belt pulley. When the belt is driven, the transmission ratio is accurate, the force on the shaft is small, the structure is compact, the oil resistance, the wear resistance is good, and the anti-aging performance is good. The general use temperature is -20 ° C - 80 ° C, v < 50 m / s, P < 300 kw, i<10, for drives that require synchronization, can also be used for low speed drives.

1 Overview
The BANDO timing belt drive is composed of a ring belt with an equally spaced tooth profile on the inner circumferential surface and a correspondingly fitted wheel. It combines the advantages of belt drive, chain drive and gear drive. When rotating, the teeth are transmitted by meshing with the tooth grooves of the wheel. Transmission dragon synchronous belt drive has accurate transmission ratio, no slip, can obtain constant speed ratio, stable transmission, can absorb vibration, low noise, large transmission ratio range, generally up to 1:10. Allow line speeds up to 50M/s and transfer power from a few watts to hundreds of kilowatts. High transmission efficiency, generally up to 98%, compact structure, suitable for multi-axis transmission, no lubrication, no pollution, so it can work normally in places where pollution and working environment are not allowed. Transmission products are widely used in various types of mechanical transmissions in textiles, machine tools, tobacco, communication cables, light industry, chemical industry, metallurgy, instrumentation, food, mining, petroleum, automotive and other industries.
2.BANDO timing belt features

3. The main failure mode of BANDO synchronous belt drive

4.BANDO timing belt classification
BANDO synchronous belt has two types of trapezoidal teeth and arc teeth. There are three series of arc teeth: arc teeth (H series also called HTD belt), flat top arc teeth (S series also called STPD belt) and concave top parabola Tooth (R series).
Trapezoidal toothed belt
The trapezoidal tooth timing belt has two types of teeth on one side and two sides on both sides, which are simply referred to as single-sided belts and double-sided belts. The double-sided belt is divided into a symmetrical tooth type (code DA) and a staggered tooth type (code DB) according to the arrangement of the teeth. The trapezoidal tooth synchronization has two dimensions: pitch system and modulus system. According to ISO 5296, the corresponding standards of synchronous belt transmission GB/T 11361~11362-1989 and GB/T 11616-1989 were formulated.
Arc tooth timing belt
The arc tooth timing belt has the same structure as the trapezoidal tooth timing belt except that the tooth shape is curved. The pitch of the belt is equivalent, and the tooth height, the tooth root thickness and the root radius of the root are larger than the trapezoidal teeth. After the tooth is loaded, the stress distribution state is better, the stress concentration of the tooth root is smoothed, and the bearing capacity of the tooth is improved. Therefore, the arc tooth timing belt has a larger transmission power than the trapezoidal tooth timing belt, and can prevent the interference of the teeth during the meshing process. The arc tooth synchronous belt has good wear resistance, low noise during operation, no lubrication, and can be used in a harsh environment with dust. Has been widely used in food, automotive, textile, pharmaceutical, printing, paper and other industries.
5.BANDO timing belt works:
The BANDO synchronous belt drive is composed of an endless belt with equal-spaced teeth on the inner peripheral surface and a pulley with corresponding teeth. During operation, the toothed teeth mesh with the tooth grooves of the pulley to transmit motion and power. It is integrated. A new belt drive with the advantages of belt drive and chain drive gear drive. Timing belt and synchronous wheel installation and use precautions: reduce the center distance of the pulley, if there is a tensioning wheel should be loosened first, then adjust the center distance after attaching the belt. For fixed center distance transmission, the pulley should be removed first, and the belt should be attached to the pulley before the pulley is fixed to the shaft.
You should also pay attention to the following points during installation:
1 When installing the BANDO timing belt, if the center distance of the two pulleys can be moved, the center distance of the pulley must be shortened first, and then the timing belt is installed, and then the center distance is reset. If there is a tensioning wheel, first relax the tensioning wheel, then install the timing belt, and then install the tensioning wheel.
2 When attaching the timing belt to the pulley, remember not to use too much force, or use a screwdriver to harden the timing belt to prevent the tensile layer in the timing belt from being broken by the appearance. When designing the pulley, it is better to use a structure in which the two shafts can move closer to each other. If the structure is not allowed, it is better to attach the timing belt to the corresponding shaft together with the pulley.
3 Control the appropriate initial tension.
4 In the synchronous belt drive, the parallelism of the two pulley axes is relatively high, otherwise the timing belt will run off when working, and even jump out of the pulley. If the axes are not parallel, the pressure will be uneven, which is the early wear of the teeth.
5 The frame supporting the pulley must have sufficient rigidity, otherwise the pulley will cause the two axes to be non-parallel when the combination lock is operated.
